SHUNGE Team-Building Trip to Zhangzhou: Recharge & Unite by the Coast

To reward our team for their hardwon achievements and strengthen team bonding, nearly all staff from Shunge Iron & Steel enjoyed a 4-day getaway to the coastal city of Zhangzhou, Fujian, from July 31 to August 3. Stepping away from busy daily work, we embraced sea breeze, local culture and precious time together as one team.

Our journey blended historic charm and coastal scenery. We wandered through timehonored ancient streets of Zhangzhou Old Town, where we gathered to savour authentic local ginger duck. Over delicious food, colleagues chatted and laughed freely, deepening connections beyond office tasks.

We then headed to Dongshan Island for fullon coastal fun. We drove along the stunning Su Feng Mountain coastline, gathered for lively beach barbecue as sunset painted the sky. During the low tide, our team became “tide-chasing explorers”, hunting for seafood on tidal flats. We also visited Yugu Sandbank, tried offshore fishing and tasted fresh-aught seafood feasts. Laughter filled every moment by the sea.

Throughout the trip, team members looked out for one another, showing great camaraderie and positive team spirit. This well-organised company trip is one of our employee welfare initiatives, giving everyone a chance to unwind and recharge fully.

Leisure time is over, and our team is back with renewed energy and enthusiasm. This relaxing coastal tour has strengthened our unity and refreshed our mindset. Moving forward, we will channel the joy and teamwork gained on this trip into our daily business.
